YouTube came to us with the exciting opportunity to brand their new “YouTube For Good” initiative. The program seeks to better organize, curate and feature video content on YouTube that is doing good for the world in some way or another. The concept of the Youtube Good logo we created comes from the idea of connecting and bringing people together. The circles also represent Youtube Good’s four pillars: Freedom of Expression, Freedom of Information, Freedom of Opportunity, Freedom to Belong.
Once a logo was established, we fleshed out the branding package into a style guide, patterns and background elements, an email newsletter template, presentation template, and other miscellaneous collateral elements.
